Kids to Kids celebrated
Earth Day 2012
at Lake Trail School!
Children from our community had an opportunity to create colorful drawings for our art exchange program at this year's Earth Day event. Fertile Ground director Peggy Carswell recently returned from India with stories and photos of her travels, helping to inspire everyone who took part in the event.
After a successful art-making event at last year's Fall Fair, the art created by kids here in the Comox Valley was shared with children participating in the Kids to Kids project in India. The art work was received with great appreciation from the kids in Assam.
Thank you to everyone who participated! Your art will surely be welcomed when it gets to its new home in Assam later this year.
